 Education is something that I truly value, and I always believe that learning never stops. Recently, I decided to take another step forward in my personal growth by enrolling in one of TESDA’s online programs.

I officially registered for the course “English as a Medium of Instruction” under the TESDA Online Program (TOP). This course is designed to help learners improve their communication skills and confidence in using English for teaching, work, and everyday interactions. It’s an exciting opportunity because English remains a powerful tool not only in education but also in business, customer service, and global communication.


What I like about TESDA’s online platform is its accessibility. Anyone can create an account and start learning right away, all for free. The courses are flexible, which means I can study at my own pace and schedule. For someone like me who wants to balance learning with other responsibilities, this is a big advantage.

My Experience in Completing a TESDA MOOC Course

 Learning through a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. Recently, I enrolled in TESDA’s online program and successfully completed the course Ships’ Catering NC III (Updates) with a 100% completion rate. This course focused on the preparation of nutritionally balanced meals and the supervision and administration of the galley area on ships. It also discussed important updates from the Maritime Labour Convention 2006 adopted by the International Labour Organization (ILO). I really appreciated how this course helped me understand the importance of maintaining proper nutrition and hygiene standards, especially in a maritime setting where food safety is crucial.
