Enrolling in MOOC

MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is an online teaching that teaches people either adult, children, or old people study and learn, everyone can access it and you can learn anything you want on MOOC you can get a degree and its an asynchronous learning which means you can learn in your own pace you can also connect to other websites depending on the course your learning.


My experience in enrollment on MOOC is lets just say that its quite a game changer to me because its my first time trying it and seeing all this new knowledge that i can learn just gets me all excited, i have tried apps that teaches you stuff but I've never tried something like a MOOC. My favorite part in a MOOC is the way you can learn at your own pace. Anyways lets get to the details in my enrollment in MOOC.


Now enrolling on a MOOC you need to get on a website where MOOC is operated im using futurelearn since i want the courses to not last that long and im still a student so having a long course and attending school at the same time is not possible, yes MOOC will let you learn at your own pace but do you really want it to just sit around and you not studying it.


Futurelearn is my MOOC website getting in to futurelearn is you need to login to your email after that they ask you what your reason for learning for me i choose academic because i want to learn.



Then they let you pick what subject your interested in, this is already expected since this is a learning platform after all so i pick science, engineering and math because those are my favorite subject specially math and science.


Next is what type of course interest me well for me a course that would quickly finish is great so i pick short courses.



Then you enter more details then done your in a MOOC now I just need to enroll on a course since I liked math I pick a short course titled application of calculus after that I just need to finish it then i get a certificate of completion or something like that.



MOOC is a fun and engaging way to learn due to its students-students teaching and student-teacher with this you are guaranteed to learn, and me im always excited to learn new things so a MOOC is perfect for me to learn thats why im excited when enrolling on a MOOC because learning is always fun if you like it and my experience in the enrollment is that it allows me to pick the course i want and learn on my own pace wich is truly great.
